Hi, my name is Philip Stanton, welcome to my online gallery. 

Here you will find a selection of my original paintings, plus a range of prints.

I am a self-taught professional artist living in North Wales. I work in both oils and watercolours on a wide range of subjects although I am probably best  known for my landscape paintings, where my aim is to achieve a powerful three dimensional effect  with a combination of strong colours and textures, often seen in dramatic lighting, drawing the observer into the work.

I was born in Liverpool in 1955, and have lived and worked in North Wales for the past twenty years, although I travel the country as much as possible in search of subject matter.

My work can be seen in galleries and private collections throughout Britain and has also made it's way to Japan, Australia, the Middle East and the U.S.

I have had several fine art prints published by Washington Green and Solomon &    Whitehead and am now publishing a range of prints myself.
